Leiths Academy courses offer a comprehensive and exciting introduction to the world of food and cooking. Courses are designed to fit around and enhance the school curriculum and range from fun one hour Let’s Cook! sessions to the 5 term Leiths Introductory Certificate for
Year 12 and 13 students.

Pupils will gain key cooking skills including knife skills, time management, food safety and hygiene; and learn a repertoire of recipes such as Roast chicken and all the trimmings, Za’atar crusted prawns with a bulghar wheat and herb salad, Macaroni cheese, Chocolate brownies and Homemade ice cream.

Leiths promotes a positive attitude towards food and students will be trained in healthy eating and adapting recipes for a balanced lifestyle.
